Matek F405-WMO Flight Controller
Technical Highlights
Compact Fixed-Wing Controller
The F405-WMO measures 32 × 22 × 12.7 mm and weighs 9 g. It combines an STM32F405RGT6 MCU with an ICM42688-P gyroscope and SPL06-001 barometer.
Onboard OSD and SD Logging
An AT7456E OSD chip supports video overlay, while an SD card slot provides storage for flight logging. An SD card is not specified as included.
Aircraft and Peripheral Connections
The board provides four UARTs, one I2C bus, two ADC inputs and 10 PWM-capable outputs. The output count comprises S1–S9 plus the LED pad.
2–6S Power System
The specified input is 5.4–30 V DC. Integrated outputs include a 5 V/4V5 rail rated at 2 A and a selectable 5 V or 6 V Vx rail rated at 4.5 A continuous and 7 A peak.

Current-Sensing and Integration Notes
Matek specifies a 132 A current-sensor range and a 90 A continuous / 132 A burst PDB rating for the standard configuration.
Matek has identified an affected PDB variant with a shunt marked “3m0”. Its current-sensor range is 13.2 A, and the manufacturer limits its use to low-current aircraft below 15 A. Inspect the actual PDB before applying current calibration or relying on the standard current rating.
Select the MatekF405-TE target for ArduPilot or MATEKF405TE_SD for INAV. Confirm firmware and wiring against the installed board.
Check the voltage and current requirements of each peripheral before connecting it to the 4V5, Vx or filtered Vbat output.
FAQ
What battery input does the F405-WMO support?
Its specified input range is 5.4–30 V DC, corresponding to 2–6S LiPo systems.
Does “10 PWM outputs” include the LED pad?
Yes. The count includes nine S1–S9 outputs and the LED pad.
Which firmware targets should be selected?
Select MatekF405-TE for ArduPilot or MATEKF405TE_SD for INAV.
Why must the PDB shunt marking be checked?
Matek reports that a PDB marked “3m0” has a 13.2 A current-sensor range instead of the standard 132 A range. The manufacturer specifies this affected PDB for low-current aircraft below 15 A.
B2B Procurement FAQ
What should a buyer request before ordering?
Request confirmation of the F405-WMO model, actual PDB shunt marking, required quantity and supplied accessory set during quotation.
Can the standard 132 A current-sensor specification be guaranteed for every unit?
No specification should be assigned to an uninspected batch. Confirm the PDB version and current-sensor range of the actual supplied units during quotation.
What are the MOQ, lead time and delivery terms?
MOQ, lead time and delivery terms are not established by the supplied product evidence and must be confirmed during quotation.
