FAQ

Technical Highlights

Compact F7 Flight Controller and ESC Stack

The stack combines an STM32F722 flight controller with a 35 A four-channel BLHeli_S ESC. Its 20 × 20 mm mounting pattern is designed for space-limited FPV builds.

MPU6000 Version with Dedicated Firmware Target

The board revision shown in the supplied material corresponds to the pre-May 2022 MPU6000 batch and uses the SPEEDYBEEF7MINI Betaflight firmware target.

Wireless Parameter Configuration

Integrated Bluetooth 4.0 supports flight-controller and BLHeli_S ESC parameter configuration through the SpeedyBee app when MSP is enabled on UART6 at 115200 baud.

Analog and Digital Video Integration

The flight controller includes an AT7456E analog OSD chip, a Betaflight camera-control pad and soldering pads for supported digital video equipment.

35 A BLHeli_S Four-in-One ESC

The included ESC provides four 35 A continuous-current channels, a 45 A five-second burst rating and DSHOT300 or DSHOT600 control for 3–6S LiPo systems.

Integration Notes

  • Use the SPEEDYBEEF7MINI target only for the MPU6000 batch shown in the supplied material.

  • Later BMI270 boards require the SPEEDYBEEF7MINIV2 firmware target.

  • Bluetooth supports parameter configuration but does not support wireless flight-controller firmware flashing.

  • Flight-controller firmware updates and Blackbox downloads must be performed through a computer.

  • The RunCam camera shown in the wiring diagram is a connection example and is not identified as part of the stack package.

  • Check the FC and ESC orientation, motor order, power wiring and current-sensor settings before flight.

FAQ

Which gyro and firmware target does this stack use?

The board revision shown in the supplied material corresponds to the older MPU6000 batch and uses the SPEEDYBEEF7MINI target. Later BMI270 boards use SPEEDYBEEF7MINIV2, so the hardware must be checked before flashing firmware.

What does 8-bit mean in the product name?

It refers to the BLHeli_S ESC platform. The flight controller itself uses a 32-bit STM32F722 processor.

What battery voltage and ESC current does the stack support?

The stack supports 3–6S LiPo input. Its four-in-one ESC is rated at 35 A continuous per channel and 45 A per channel for five seconds.

Can the flight controller firmware be updated through Bluetooth?

No. Bluetooth can be used for supported flight-controller and ESC parameter configuration through the SpeedyBee app, but flight-controller firmware updates must be completed through a computer.

Is the RunCam camera included?

No camera is established as part of the stack package. The RunCam Phoenix 2 Nano shown in the supplied wiring diagram is an integration example.

Does the flight controller include a barometer?

No. The SpeedyBee F7 Mini specification does not include an onboard barometer.

B2B Procurement FAQ

Is this SpeedyBee F7 Mini stack still available?

The manufacturer currently identifies this model as discontinued. Remaining inventory, quantity and batch information must be confirmed during quotation.

How should the gyro revision be confirmed before ordering?

Request confirmation of the board marking, production revision, installed gyro and required Betaflight target. The MPU6000 and BMI270 versions use different firmware targets.

Can the flight controller or ESC be purchased separately?

The manufacturer previously listed stack, flight-controller-only and ESC-only options. The configuration currently available must be confirmed during quotation.

What accessories are supplied with the stack?

The attachment shows an FC-to-ESC cable, power lead, capacitor, mounting hardware, grommets and documentation card. The exact packing list for the available batch should be confirmed in the quotation.

What are the MOQ, lead time and warranty terms?

Minimum order quantity, available quantity, lead time, warranty coverage and delivery terms must be confirmed during quotation.
