GEPRC MATEN 1.2G 5W VTX PRO
Technical Highlights
Maximum 5000mW RF Output
Four selectable output levels of 25mW, 400mW, 800mW and 5000mW support different video-link requirements. Pit Mode provides a reduced-output setting for setup and maintenance.
1080–1360MHz Frequency Coverage
The updated frequency configuration uses two eight-position channel groups covering listed frequencies from 1080MHz to 1360MHz. Direct frequency entry is also supported through a compatible configurator.
Integrated Active Cooling
The high-strength CNC aluminum-alloy housing combines passive heat dissipation with an integrated cooling fan. This thermal design supports the higher heat load produced at elevated RF output settings.
IRC Tramp VTX Control
IRC Tramp support enables channel and output-power adjustment through a compatible flight controller and on-screen display configuration system.
Wide 7–36V Power Input
The VTX accepts 7–36V DC input for 2S through 8S battery systems. It also provides a regulated 5V output rated at up to 600mA for a compatible camera or cooling accessory.
Temperature Protection
Integrated temperature protection helps prevent damage from excessive heat. Proper airflow and ventilation are still required, particularly when operating at 5000mW.

FAQ
What is the maximum output power?
The maximum listed output setting is 5000mW. The other selectable levels are 25mW, 400mW and 800mW, together with Pit Mode.
What frequency range does the VTX support?
The updated model covers listed frequencies from 1080MHz to 1360MHz and supports direct frequency entry through a compatible configurator.
How are the preset channels arranged?
The detailed manufacturer specification lists two frequency groups with eight preset positions in each group. Some frequencies appear in both groups.
Does the VTX support flight-controller adjustment?
Yes. IRC Tramp allows compatible flight controllers and OSD systems to adjust supported VTX parameters.
What battery voltage can be connected?
The VTX accepts 7–36V DC input and is specified for 2S through 8S battery systems. Always verify polarity before applying power.
What is the 5V output used for?
The regulated 5V output supplies up to 600mA for a compatible camera or cooling accessory. A battery or external power input must never be connected to this output.
Does the VTX include active cooling?
Yes. The aluminum-alloy housing incorporates an active cooling fan. The fan and air outlets must remain unobstructed during use.
Is an antenna included in the standard package?
The official package list includes an SMA connector adapter but does not list a 1.2GHz antenna. A correctly matched antenna should therefore be selected separately unless the quotation states otherwise.
Can the VTX be powered without an antenna?
No. A correctly matched 1.2GHz antenna or suitable RF load must be connected before the transmitter is powered.
Which mounting patterns are listed?
The detailed manufacturer specification lists 20 × 20mm and 25.5 × 25.5mm M2 mounting patterns. Buyers should verify the physical mounting version before integration.
B2B Procurement FAQ
What is included in the standard package?
The official package list includes one VTX, one SMA male-to-SMA female connector, one SH1.25 6-pin cable, six M2 × 5 screws, six M2 × 6 screws and one product manual. Final contents should be confirmed in the quotation.
Which product version should be stated on the purchase order?
The purchase order should identify the product as GEPRC MATEN 1.2G 5W VTX PRO and should state the required frequency range, firmware configuration and mounting pattern.
What should be confirmed before a volume order?
Confirm the channel firmware, direct-frequency-entry function, physical mounting-hole version, cable pinout, SMA connector configuration and package contents before production approval.
Can a sample be ordered for integration testing?
Sample availability, price and delivery terms are not specified in the supplied product information and must be confirmed during quotation.
Are custom cables, antennas or packaging available?
Custom cable pinouts, antenna bundles, labels and packaging are not guaranteed by the supplied material. Feasibility, minimum quantity and additional cost must be confirmed during quotation.
What regulatory information should buyers provide?
Buyers should provide the destination country and intended operating frequencies. Permission to use 1.2GHz channels and output power up to 5000mW varies by jurisdiction and must be checked before import or operation.
How should incoming inspection be performed?
Recommended checks include model-label verification, housing and fan inspection, connector and cable inspection, correct input polarity, operation with a matched RF load, channel selection, IRC Tramp control and output-mode switching.
