GEPRC MATEN 5.8G 2.5W VTX PRO
Technical Highlights
Up to 2500mW RF Output
Five selectable output levels of 25mW, 200mW, 600mW, 1600mW and 2500mW allow the video link to be configured for different operating requirements. Pit Mode provides a reduced-output setting for setup and maintenance.
80-Channel Wide-Frequency Version
The current upgraded version covers 4884–6184MHz and provides 80 selectable channels. The upgrade adds the 4.9GHz X group and supports direct frequency entry through a compatible configurator.
Active Fan Cooling
A built-in micro turbofan works with the high-strength CNC aluminum-alloy housing to dissipate heat during high-power operation. The housing also provides additional physical protection for the VTX electronics.
IRC Tramp Remote Control
IRC Tramp support enables compatible flight controllers and on-screen display systems to adjust supported VTX parameters without direct access to the function button.
Built-In Microphone
The integrated microphone supports real-time audio transmission through a compatible analog FPV receiving and display system.
Wide 7–36V Input
The VTX accepts 7–36V DC input for 2S through 8S battery systems. A regulated 5V output rated at up to 600mA is available for a compatible FPV camera or cooling accessory.

Installation and Operating Notes
Install a correctly matched antenna before applying power.
Never operate the VTX without a suitable antenna or RF load.
Maintain constant airflow around the housing during operation.
Do not obstruct the integrated fan or the housing air outlets.
Ensure additional ventilation when operating in a confined installation.
The 5V output is intended only for a compatible camera or cooling accessory.
Never connect the battery or main power input to the 5V output terminal.
Verify cable polarity and connector pin order before installation.
Use only frequencies and output powers permitted by local radio regulations.

FAQ
What is the maximum output power?
The maximum listed output is 2500mW. Additional selectable settings are 25mW, 200mW, 600mW and 1600mW, together with Pit Mode.
How many channels does the current version support?
The current upgraded version supports 80 channels across 4884–6184MHz. Earlier V1.3 documentation describes a 72-channel version, so older stock should be checked before installation.
Does it support the 4.9GHz frequency group?
Yes. The current upgraded version adds the 4.9GHz X group and extends the listed frequency range down to 4884MHz.
Can a frequency be entered directly?
Yes. Direct frequency entry is supported by the current upgraded version when used with a compatible configurator.
Does the VTX support OSD parameter adjustment?
Yes. IRC Tramp enables supported channel and output-power adjustment through a compatible flight controller and OSD system.
Does the VTX transmit audio?
Yes. It has a built-in microphone for real-time audio transmission through a compatible analog FPV receiving system.
What input voltage is supported?
The VTX accepts 7–36V DC input and is specified for 2S through 8S battery systems.
What is the 5V output used for?
The regulated 5V output supplies up to 600mA for a compatible camera or cooling accessory. Do not connect a battery or external power input to this output.
Is active cooling built in?
Yes. An integrated micro turbofan assists the CNC aluminum housing with heat dissipation. The fan and air outlets must remain clear.
Which mounting patterns are supported?
The VTX supports 20 × 20mm and 30.5 × 30.5mm mounting patterns using M2 hardware.
B2B Procurement FAQ
What is included in the standard package?
The official package list includes one VTX, one MMCX copper-tube antenna, one 75mm MMCX-to-SMA cable, one 150mm SH1.0 6-pin cable, six M2 × 5 screws and four M2 × 12 screws. Final contents should be confirmed in the quotation.
Which version should be specified for purchasing?
Specify the current 80-channel version with the 4.9GHz X group and direct frequency entry. If purchasing existing inventory, request confirmation that it is not the earlier 72-channel version.
Can samples be supplied before a volume order?
Sample availability, price and delivery arrangements are not specified in the supplied product information and must be confirmed during quotation.
Can cables, antennas or packaging be customized?
Custom cables, antenna combinations, labels and packaging are not guaranteed by the supplied material. Feasibility, minimum quantity and cost must be confirmed during quotation.
What should be confirmed before production approval?
Confirm the channel version, frequency range, direct-frequency-entry function, housing finish, cable pinout, mounting hardware and package contents before approving a volume order.
What regulatory details should buyers provide?
Buyers should provide the destination country and intended operating frequencies. Permission to use the 4.9–6.1GHz range and output power up to 2500mW varies by jurisdiction.
How should incoming inspection be performed?
Recommended checks include model and version verification, housing and fan inspection, connector and cable inspection, correct power polarity, operation with a matched antenna or RF load, channel selection, IRC Tramp control and power-mode switching.
